Vetora is one of New Zealand’s longest-standing, farmer-owned vet clubs.
Established in 1943 by the leading farmers of their time who wanted their rural community to have access to the very best veterinarian services. The rural communities in which we live and work remain at the heart of what we do, and we believe that being rural should not compromise the level of care and service you receive. Powered by our members, we reinvest all our profits back into the community and business, ensuring you’re receiving the best practical and technical expertise for your animals, for today and tomorrow.
We have a highly skilled veterinary team with over 70 vets and a full team of nurses, technicians and support staff across all our clinics. We have a strong mix of experienced veterinarians, with a focus on developing the next group of talented team members. We provide full 24/7 on farm emergency care all year round.
Our farmer members get unique benefits including on-farm delivery services, reduced visit fees, Farm Account payment terms, seminars, workshops and social events. As a farmer member you also elect your board of directors and have annual voting rights.
We know that animals are an important part of every rural community, especially pets in your family. We believe that being rural should not mean your pets get any less care than an animal in the big smoke.
With this in mind, we have invested in modern facilities across our network of clinics. In our clinics you will find surgery suites, X-ray, Ultra-sound, in-house labs, dental equipment, cattery and kennels for hospitilisation, and much more.
But most importantly we have a fantastic and highly skilled team of vets, nurses and service staff ready to look after you and your pets.
